TRAINING
Youth Protection Training
It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, territory, area, council, district, and unit levels. This training is an ANNUAL requirement for any parent that attends an overnight activity. Once you have completed your Youth Protection Training, please complete this form and submit your certificate: https://forms.gle/QFdiuuLFqctTeU1K9
BSA Adult Leader Training
All adult leaders are first required to take Youth Protection Training. When that is completed, training for each position in Cub Scouting is available on-line. There are additional training courses available in your local area.
Any adult that is not the parent or legal guardian of their scout must also register as a leader in order to attend any overnight activities.
Hazardous Weather Training
All “direct contact” leaders are required to take BSA’s Hazardous Weather Training to be considered fully trained in their position.
