Siblings are welcome to walk in the parade with the Pack, but they are not guaranteed to fit on the float (Scouts first). Scouts are to wear class A uniform, but are encouraged to wear holiday hats and fun accessories such as light up necklaces.

Pack 405 Holiday Party
Thursday, December 12 @ 6:00 PM
Oaks Hall- MMUMC
4075 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127
This year we are changing up our Holiday party and adding a bit more culture. Instead of our Gingerbread houses, we are going to allow our Scouts share knowledge about how other cultures celebrate the holiday season, as well as teach people where Christmas traditions originated. Each family will choose a Holiday subject via Signup Genius (link below) and make a tri-poster or other display of your choice about their chosen subject. Some examples include St. Nicholas, Christmas Tree, Dreidel, Menorah, etc. Think Social Studies Fair at school, but Holiday Inspired Subjects. A vote will be completed to award those in different categories like most creative, most detailed, etc. and winners will receive a prize.
We also will have holiday karaoke, ornament decorating, and photobooth for entertainment. And a chili cook-off for the parents, bake-off for the Scouts, and tacky sweater competition for the adults all for prizes. Please make sure to sign up if you plan to participate in the cooking/baking competitions or if you can contribute anything to the party including toppings for chili, drinks, or volunteer to help. Sign Up Genius link below.

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Marietta National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
It was decided that we will not be attending this event as a pack, however, we highly recommend attending as a family. We have secured a spot for people to attend and participate, but no set group leader for the event. Feel free to show up in our name. We suggest arriving early to find time for parking, and please wear your Class A’s.
